Install

  1. 1Open the downloaded .dmg.
  2. 2Drag Presto into your Applications folder.
  3. 3Open Presto. macOS checks it was downloaded from the internet; click Open.
  4. 4Allow microphone access, then Accessibility access so Presto can type into other apps.

Staying up to date

Presto updates itself. It checks once a day, or choose Check for Updates… from the Presto menu to get the newest build straight away.

What to expect

  • Sign-in codes currently go only to invited testers.
  • Purchases aren’t open yet, so there’s nothing to buy.
  • It’s early. Some things will be rough, and builds will change.

Sending feedback

Reply to the beta email. The most useful notes say what you did, what you expected, what happened, and which app you were typing in. Screenshots help.
